This document outlines the terms and conditions related to the cancellation of services provided by Entrutech By submitting a cancellation request, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
1.Services Subject to Cancellation
The following services may be cancelled upon the client’s request:
1.1 Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Cancellation of the SLA will terminate all contractual obligations related to guaranteed response times, service-level commitments, and any additional benefits stipulated in the SLA.
1.2 Microsoft 365 NCE Services
- All licenses, subscriptions, and user access under the Microsoft 365 New Commerce Experience (NCE) model will be deactivated. This includes email accounts, Office applications, Teams, OneDrive, and any other Microsoft 365 services.
- If you have licenses on 1 year commit billed monthly and are cancelling before the subscription expiration date, you will be liable for the full term’s payment. Example: If you are cancelling on month 7 of your annual commitment, you will still be liable for the full 12 months’ payments.
1.3 Managed Services
- Termination of managed services includes the cessation of:
- Proactive monitoring and updates for all devices.
- Anti-virus and endpoint protection.
- Data backup services for workstations, servers, or cloud environments.
- Server and network management services, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting support.
1.4 Domain-Only Services
- The domain name will no longer be managed or renewed by Entrutech. It is the client’s responsibility to transfer the domain to another registrar or service provider.
1.5 Domain and Hosting Services
- Cancellation will result in the termination of domain management as well as hosting services. This includes website files, databases, and email accounts hosted on Entrutech’s servers.
1.6 Website Management
- All services related to website updates, content management, security monitoring, and technical support will cease. The client must ensure they have access to the website’s backend and files before the cancellation date.
2.Client Responsibilities
2.1 Data Backup
- It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure all necessary backups of data, emails, files, databases, and any other critical information are completed before the cancellation date.
- Entrutech will not retain, store, or provide access to any data after the service cancellation is effective.
2.2 Data Loss Liability
- Entrutech shall not be held liable for any loss of data resulting from the cancellation of services. This applies to all the aforementioned services, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, managed services, hosting accounts, and website management.
2.3 Transition Assistance
- The client may request transition assistance, such as exporting data or transferring services, prior to the cancellation date. Additional fees may apply for such services, and they must be arranged at least 14 before cancellation.
3.Cancellation Process
3.1 Notice Period
- A written notice of cancellation must be provided in accordance with the terms of the applicable agreement. The notice period will typically be 30 Days as stipulated in the service contract.
3.2 Confirmation of Cancellation
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by Entrutech in order to take effect.
- Upon confirmation, the client will receive a final billing statement for any outstanding amounts owed.
3.3 Effective Date of Cancellation
- The service(s) will be terminated on the agreed-upon cancellation date, provided all outstanding balances are settled.
4.Final Remarks
By requesting the cancellation of services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. Entrutech strongly recommends that the client reviews their data and backup processes thoroughly to avoid potential disruptions or data loss.
